Abstract

This project involved a corporate design overhaul for Praxis am Klinikum, a medical practice located in Velbert, near Wuppertal. The goal was to create a modern, streamlined visual identity that reflects the practice’s commitment to professional care and patient well-being. The project included a redesigned logomark, color palette and fitting marketing products.

The Client

Praxis am Klinikum is a well-established medical practice serving the Velbert community. The existing branding was deemed outdated and visually cluttered, hindering its ability to project a contemporary and professional image. The practice sought a refreshed identity that would enhance its online presence and reinforce its commitment to quality patient care.

Approach

The design process prioritized clarity, simplicity, and versatility. The core principle was to rework the logomark that is easily recognizable and adaptable across all media, from digital platforms to print materials.

Solution

Logo Redesign

The existing, complex logomark should be simplified into a clean, modern mark that retains key elements while improving legibility and scalability. Although some promising concepts were presented the client chose to have their old logo cleaned up and colors adapted to the new color scheme.

Color Palette

A warm and welcoming color palette of yellow in contrast to the dark brown and a tinted red accent color were selected to evoke a sense of cure, well-being and understanding.

Impact

The new corporate design and website have significantly enhanced Praxis am Klinikum’s brand image, projecting a more professional and approachable persona. The cleaned-up logomark is versatile and recognizable, while the flyers, brochures and display bring new clients into the practitioners office.
